Electric forklift battery automatic water injection system

1. Construction:
    This watering system is a device that automatically fills the electrolyte and water. When the water is filled, it will automatically close when the liquid level reaches the rated height. At the same time, the gas generated during charging is discharged from the vent hole on the liquid filling plug.
    2. Application: This water injection system is applied to the traction battery on the transport vehicle.
    3. Function:
    There is a float on the water injection plug, which floats up as the liquid level rises during the watering process, and automatically closes the water injection port when the liquid level reaches the rated liquid level.
    In order to use the water injection system accurately, please note the following:
    3.1 Manual or automatic water injection:
    Shortly after the battery is fully charged, the electrolyte in the battery mixes more evenly, is in a stable state, and begins the water injection operation.
    3.2 If manual water injection is used, it is required to fill the water once a week.
    3.3 If automatic water injection is used, the charger automatically closes the water injection system in time after automatic water addition.
    3.4 If the battery is operated in multiple shifts or at a higher temperature, the interval between water additions should be appropriately shortened.
    3.5 water injection time:
    The length of time for water injection depends on the amount of load during use and the temperature rise of the battery. In general, the entire watering process takes 3 minutes. After adding water, manually separate the water pipe from the battery.
    3.6 working pressure;
    The water pressure is between 0.2 and 0.6 bar. (The bottom of the battery must have at least 2M height difference from the bottom of the water injection container)
    3.7 cleaning;
    The distilled water to be injected must meet the requirements. The water storage container and water pipe must be cleaned and kept clean.
    3.8 Rubber hose on the battery:
    The rubber tube on the battery is arranged according to the arranged electrode unit wiring, and it is not allowed to change it without authorization.
    3.9 working temperature;
    The working limit temperature of the lead-acid battery is 55 ° C. Above this temperature, the battery will be damaged, and the load of the water injection system will be increased in a short time.
    note! For batteries with automatic water injection system, the room temperature should be higher than 0 °C during winter use. Otherwise, the watering system will not work properly due to freezing.
    3.10 Traffic Monitor:
    To monitor the water injection process, a flow monitor is installed on the water injection pipe. The injected water stream rotates the built-in turbine. When the water is filled, all the buoys float up and close the filling plug, and the built-in turbine stops rotating, indicating that the watering process is over.
    3.11 Automatic filling plug that floats up and down:
    Only the matching automatic liquid filling plug can be used on the battery, otherwise the battery may be damaged.
