The forklift battery belongs to the tubular discharge type battery. When it is shipped from the factory, it needs to be tested for discharge. In order to check the time and capacity of the forklift battery, the balance between the single batteries, the discharge is to check whether the battery capacity is normal, generally 5 hours. Rate discharge, conditional available for false load discharge; from the convenience of consideration, directly discharge with the load, that is, pull off the mains, use the battery pack to supply power, considering the safety, the discharge depth is controlled at 80%.
Of course, there are conditions to discharge deeper, it is easy to expose the potential problems of the battery, and the voltage of the single cell is detected every hour, and the battery capacity is released by calculation; after the battery pack of the forklift is discharged, it should be immediately charged, and the current can be controlled at the beginning. More than 0.15C (A) is appropriate (such as 400Ah battery, the charging current should be no more than 0.15 × 400 = 60A). When the current becomes small, the battery pack charging voltage can be gradually increased to reach the average charging voltage value, and then charged for 6 hours, and then the floating charging voltage value is adjusted back, and the "health condition" of each battery is judged from the discharging capacity and the battery voltage value. Because the voltage change of each battery in different discharge capacity process represents the "health" condition of the battery, if there is a failed battery, remedial measures should be taken.
