Forklift battery capacity failure recovery method

The working time of the forklift battery is determined by the capacity. Once the fault occurs, which affects the daily production work, we can restore the capacity to the ideal state through various technologies to achieve the capacity coefficient of the forklift battery. The battery is used as the power unit in the system. Battery cells tend to have relatively low capacity and cannot meet the requirements of large-capacity systems. Therefore, battery cells need to be connected in series to form a battery pack to increase the supply voltage and storage capacity.
There are differences between different monomers, such as electrolyte density and electrode equivalent resistance, due to the manufacturing process of the battery cells themselves. These differences cause even if the charge and discharge currents of each cell in the series battery pack are the same, The capacity of the individual cells is different, which in turn affects the operation of the entire battery pack. In the worst case, in a battery pack, if the remaining capacity of one of the cells is close to 100% and the remaining capacity of the other cell is 0, the battery pack can neither be charged nor discharged, and cannot be used at all.
Therefore, it is very important to balance and repair the battery capacity of the forklift, especially when a large number of battery cells are connected in series. After the forklift battery has lost water, vulcanization, and early capacity loss, the battery capacity can be recovered as long as it is not accompanied by a short circuit or severe corrosion of the grid and the ear. The phenomenon of short-circuiting the battery is obvious, and it shows that the temperature of the electrolyte is significantly increased during the charging process.
In ordinary lead-acid batteries, the severe corrosion failure of the grid and the tab often occurs at the end of the battery life, and the phenomenon of charging and discharging is no longer studied. However, for batteries, this failure may occur in the early or middle stages of life, so the study of its phenomena is necessary. If the battery failure mode can be diagnosed before restoring the capacity of the failed lead battery, especially if there is a short circuit and severe corrosion of the grid, it will be helpful to repair the battery in a targeted manner. The phenomenon of lead-acid batteries with severe corrosion and fracture of the ear during charging and discharging has been studied.
